Ever since his college years, Matthew Platero has always wanted to start his own business.
“I imagined that it would be pretty cool to see my own business somewhere downtown or on the South Hill,” he said. “Being in control of values, direction, my schedule and what work I want to take on or believe in has been very enticing.”
With his company, Mowglee, they are looking to level up people’s production game. They eat, sleep and breathe design and are here to provide clients cutting edge photography, videography or motion graphics.
Platero loves seeing an idea or a vision come to life, and the passion he has for what they do is undeniable.
“I get excited about design and seeing where things might end up,” he said. “Sometimes I get up and think, ‘I can’t believe I am able to pursue this career and dream of mine.’ So there’s a lot of awareness of my privileged position in the professional world. I don’t take that ungratefully.”
Mowglee provides clients with the following services:
- Media Production
- Motion Graphics
- 3D Animation
- Web Design
- Social Media Services
- Print Packaging
- Apparel Design
- And also appear and disappear at will
Platero wants his clients to know that they are here to help. They are not here solely for monetary gain, they seek to build relationships and trust, which is a huge part of the company.
The company just started recently and Platero has been enjoying every moment of it. He’s come across a lot of organizations, support, and resources since he left Spokane Tribe Casino, and believes he made the right choice in venturing out into a new area of his life.
