Washington state expands tribal solar initiatives with EPA Solar for All funding

The Washington State Department of Commerce (WSDOC) plans to launch a new tribal solar energy program funded by a $156 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Solar For All initiative. The program, which builds on work the state has done with Washington tribes in the past, will allocate funds for new solar batteries, storage, and workforce development, according to WSDOC officials.
