Next month, the New York Times best-selling author, Angeline Boulley will hold an exclusive Book Club for National Indian Education Association (NIEA) members to discuss her book, “Fire Keeper’s Daughter.”
NIEA is inviting people to join them on Thursday, July 20, at 2 p.m. EST for a deep-dive with Boulley to learn about her debut novel.
Boulley, an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, is a storyteller who writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She is a former Director of the Office of Indian Education at the U.S. Department of Education.
Her second book, “Warrior Girl Unearthed” was released in May this year.
